Analytics Specialist/Data Analyst/Insight Analyst

Do you have 2-3 years experience of working within an Analytical role where you excel in data analysis, deriving insight and opportunity from data?

Do you enjoy building relationships with stakeholders (either internal or external), meeting with them to understand their data related needs or issues? If so, you are likely to be a business-facing, engaging type who enjoys taking ownership of data/insight projects and seeing data projects through from inception to delivery and you're therefore the type of candidate our client is keen to hear about.

Our client is truly global, working across industries and continents. They use analytics and data extracted from across the Internet to enable better strategic decisions. This role is mostly about researching things, getting and playing with data, drawing conclusions, and about being creative in your approach. You will autonomously deliver client projects, extracting insights from digital data, and translating these into actionable advice and online strategies.

Key responsibilities include:
- Quantitative and qualitative analysis of data, identifying insights that answer questions and drive informed decision making.
- Converting analyses into insightful deliverables, with end to end responsibility for project delivery.
- Proactively identifying new types of analysis or data sources that expand capabilities and help solve problems.
- Engaging with the business to identify needs, and building relationships with key client stakeholders. This is key!

Requirements:
- Proven experience delivering reports in a rigorously data-driven environment (MS Office Excel & PowerPoint).
- Strong ability to bring qualitative and quantitative data to life, through insight discovery and storytelling.
- Applied knowledge of digital data.
- Experience presenting data-driven outputs
- High standard of verbal and written communication skills, with exceptional attention to detail.
- Enthusiasm for learning, with a strong desire to broaden your knowledge across the digital landscape.

Desirable:
Hands on experience with web analytics tools (GA, Adobe Analytics etc.).
Knowledge of advanced statistical methods and/or programming languages for data analysis.
Knowledge of digital marketing best practices, particularly around organic and paid search.
Fluency in an additional language(s) considered an advantage.
