Ocean Export Coordinator - Temporary on-going

The Role

Responsible for co-ordinating all bookings via approved procedure

Maintain close working relationships with appointed carriers so that operational issues are identified and resolved with no customer impact

Execute all ocean shipments and documentation with the highest level of accuracy at all times

Update of tracking and tracing system is executed timely and accurately so customers can experience real time information

Proactively contact the customer with day to day shipment information/offloads/delays. Build network of relationships at the required levels within the customer's organisation

Skills required

Highly skilled freight forwarder - end to end

Ocean export experience (whether broad or regionally specific)

Skilled in all aspects of ocean exports ie customs clearances, all client documentation and information and compliance

Confident to undertake all aspects of customer interaction

Attention to detail

Confident on the phone

Compliance aware

Task driven
