I am looking for applications from experienced Accountants for my client in Oldham town centre.
The current Accountant is planning early retirement after 21 years' service with this family run organisation and her replacement is required to start at the beginning of August at the latest to ensure a period of handover.
Working closely with the Managing Director, day to day duties include: -
• Management of a small accounts team - 3 direct reports
• Monthly management accounts
• Monthly reporting
• Daily bank and cash flow
• Monthly and ad-hoc payment runs
• Nominal account reconciliation
• Bank reconciliation
• VAT returns and payments
• Other ad-hoc accounts duties and when required
The successful candidate will be AAT qualified as a minimum and be a hands-on accountant with solid knowledge of VAT & PAYE & RTI.
This is a really friendly and enjoyable company to work for and you will benefit from a salary of GBP35,000 + pension, 4 weeks holiday plus bank holidays.
