Reporting to the Traffic Supervisor, the drivers will run a day collection & delivery work,
Geographical area of responsibility: High Wycombe - Home Counties / Greater London
Key Activities / Accountabilities
* Vehicle checks
* Assistance with loading/securing of goods
* Checking of paperwork before departure
* Timekeeping as per schedule
* Ensure vehicle health and safety compliance
* Hazardous goods carried with appropriate licence, training and equipment
* Ensure legal compliance with department manager
* Report all damages and discrepancies to Line Manager
* Adhere to group security rules at all times
* Drive vehicle in a safe and responsible manner ensuring maximisation of fuel consumption
* Keep all work records i.e. green cards up to date with all required information
* Report all vehicle defects immediately and complete necessary documentation
PERSON PROFILE - DRIVER
Essential Education and/ or Training
* Class 2
* Driver CPC (full hours)
Preferred Experience and Knowledge
* Minimum 2 year HGV driving experience
* Experience of securing loads
* Experience of pulling double-deck trailers (if applying for trunk role)

* Reliable and trustworthy

* Self motivated and keen to succeed
* Motivated to succeed individually and as part of a team
* Flexible working where required - This position will require early start approx 7.30am
* Understands customer contact interaction
