What are we looking for?
Chubb is currently recruiting for a Director of Digital of Technology for the UK. You will have overall responsibility for budgeting and performance, active management and interaction of the team, (based in three UK locations - Blackburn, Nottingham, Ashford in Middlesex) and represent Digital Technology (DT) on the Chubb UK leadership team.
As the Digital Technology Director, you will:
Ensure continuity/high availability of business critical Digital Technology (DT) landscape, whilst also ensuring compliance to company standards, policies, and relevant legislation.
Coach and mentor the IT team to develop in their IT and interpersonal skills to progress in the broader Carrier organization and build strong relationships with stakeholders
Consult with senior management and key supervisors to help identify opportunities for process digitization and on technology and applications that could benefit the business.
Cultivate collaborative relationship with other Chubb/Carrier DT Operations teams to encourage sharing of skills/resources, achievements and ideas and to develop group solutions to common issues and challenges.
Ensure business and DT teams engagement in, and adherence to, group digital objectives, strategies and initiatives.
Manage IT resources to deliver projects within scope, in budget and timescales

To be successful in this role you will possess:
Demonstrable expertise in managing, coaching and mentoring IT teams and a track record of success in DT management aligned to our requirements
Good knowledge of all aspects of business applications and associated business processes in a multisite sales and service organisation (ERP, sales, install, service, billing and financial processes and associated technologies).
Drive cultural change
Ability to deliver in corporate/compliance focused environment
Strong commercial awareness
Ability to demonstrate success in a multiple business model
Experience of working with CRM solutions, JD Edwards, Dynamics, etc.
Good knowledge of all aspects on IT Infrastructure (LAN, WAN, Security, Active Directory, Exchange, Servers, Data Centres and associated equipment and services).
Full Driving License, available for UK travel
