Financial Systems User Support Officer

We are looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic and customer focused individual to work with the Financial Systems team.  The individual will assist in maintaining and developing the financial systems that operate from the Financial Services department within the University of Huddersfield.

With experience on large computerised financial systems, the successful applicant will ensure that an excellent support desk service is provided to customers along with leading classroom based training courses to meet the complex needs of our customers.  The ability to communicate to an outstanding standard is necessary along with patience and understanding to support our users.

The successful candidate should have a systematic, flexible and enquiring approach to work.  A sound knowledge of system integration and interfacing would be an advantage as would an understanding of ERP systems and databases within a higher education organisation.

The Financial Services team has signed up to the Customer Service Excellence Standards award and as such the successful candidate must be customer focused and able to sign up to the ethos of this award and apply it to all activities they undertake.
