Casework Official (Wales)

Based in Cardiff

£19,145 per annum (FTE £47,864)

14 hours per week (two days per week - worked between Tuesday to Thursday with flexibility)

Working with lay officials and staff colleagues, you will manage a substantial caseload, providing individual support and representation to teachers. This is a demanding role in which you will deal with the full range of employee relations issues, whilst identifying campaigning and organising opportunities wherever possible.

The role demands tenacity, resilience, the ability to work under pressure, excellent employment law knowledge and an understanding of teachers’ terms and conditions.
