We are looking for an experienced Sales Order Processor for one one of West Bromwich based clients who covers all stationery needs.

Duties will include:

- Inputting customer's orders on to Sage. Allocating stock and printing delivery notes for Warehouse pickers.

-Amending and adjusting quantities on orders as well as numbering up orders.

-Organising the work load in the Warehouse and Packing Room to make sure things flow smoothly so orders will be despatched on time.

- Emailing and calling customers to advise issues with orders e.g. price queries out of stock products de-listed Items.

-Checking with Accounts department when customers on hold and informing them if orders cannot be despatched on time.

- Keeping records of back orders for customers. Informing customers of when stock will be received and checking goods still required.

- Taking general phone calls. e.g. taking orders dealing with complaints and sorting out errors made on orders Also any issues with the transport or the way pallets are stacked or wrapped.

- Sending copies of Statements/invoices/orders/credits by email on request.

- Organising transport for all delivery's around the UK/Ireland and sometimes overseas.

- Advising the Packing room what stock needs to be made up for orders and advise monthly items for stock. Adjusting out raw materials once the packing room has reworked into a stock line.

-Inputting stock onto the system from containers/daily delivery's and work made up in the packing room. (Shared duty)

- Organise and help run the main stock takes, sorting all the paperwork out for the warehouse to number up the stock then inputting the information onto Sage and calculating the stock and adjusting the stock up or down as advised. Inputting all the bin locations onto the system.

- Using barcode machine ensuring Database is always up to date by creating new products and barcodes. Printing off barcodes and designing new barcodes as and when required.

Hours are 8.30am till 5pm Monday to Friday.
