AM Recruitment Ltd are acting on behalf of a client to recruit a full time, permanent Fabricator with experience of manufacturing pressure vessels and tanks. Our client is a large manufacturing company, they make tanks, pressure vessels, silo's, process pipework, chemical dosing equipment, steel work and much more. A permanent job opportunity has come up, an opportunity for a good candidate to join a well established highly skilled team.
The ideal candidate will:
* be apprentice trained
* have experience working as a plater or plater/welder making pressure vessels and tanks
* be capable of developing & rolling/pressing cones
* be capable of marking/setting out dished ends for pipe connections etc.
A desirable candidate will also have (but not essential):
* have previously been coded to BS EN(phone number removed) :2013 in TIG & MAGS
* be familiar with double TIG welding.
* Have welded Materials that range from Carbon Steel through to Inconel and Duplex,
The standard hours of work are 7am - 3.30pm Monday to Thursday 7am - 2.30pm Friday with 1/2 hour unpaid lunch break. Overtime after 39 hours, paid at time and one half (generally plenty available).
This is a permanent position from day one, you will get 22 days holiday plus stats, increasing to a maximum of 25 days plus stats with years service. After your 3 month probation period, you'll be entitled to join the company pension scheme, Westfield health plan, nursery voucher scheme, cycle to work scheme, tool club and much more.
