Nottingham Community Housing Association (NCHA) is one of the largest locally based housing organizations in the East Midlands. We have an excellent opportunity for a Heating Engineer to join our in house maintenance service.
As part of the Direct Maintenance Service you will organise and carry out the design, installation, maintenance, servicing and repair work for our housing stock. You must have extensive experience and demonstrable post qualification of installations of all types of gas heating systems, to include full heating systems to boiler replacements, along with extensive and demonstrable post qualification experience in servicing and repairs including fault-finding on all makes of gas appliances.
Whilst delivering an efficient and customer focused service, you will coordinate the services of other trades to ensure a seamless service to tenants. Further to this you will also ensure services are compliant with relevant legislation and regulations.
Due to the nature of the role you must have a valid driving licence and you will also be required to undertake stand-by call-out duties for emergency breakdowns.
Requirements for the role:
  • NVQ or equivalent qualification
  • Valid CPA1 Certificate or Competence
  • Current ACS accreditation in CCN1, CKR1, HTR1, CENWAT1 and MET1, CODC1, TPCP1A
  • G3 certificate in unvented hot water systems
  • WRAS water regulations certificate of competence
  • Part L energy efficiency practitioner
  • Part P - Electrical
