Position: Hands on Studio Manager
Location: Newcastle

One of our clients in Newcastle is looking for a creative studio manager to join the studio team.
The company are a design agency in the centre or town and looking for an enthusiastic and hard-working Creative Studio Manager to work with a growing list of high-profile clients.
Briefing and distributing workload to in-house designers and freelancers
Ensuring deadlines are met
Ensuring projects come in on budget
Checking weekly time sheets
Client management, including taking briefs, and keeping clients up to date with the progress of projects
Keeping the team updated every Monday with the workload for the week
Organising annual appraisals
Working on multiple design projects, packaging point of sale, brand development, illustration and style guides
Making sure design and artwork is completed accurately and error-free
Setting up final print artwork
Drive the implementation of systems and processes within the studio to further improve efficiency, profitability, job flow and output
Resource planning to maximise studio capacity - including assigning relevant designers to projects to ensure timely completion of work in line with client deadlines
Develop new ideas and strategies for improving agency efficiency and client servicing
Report on performance vs. key metrics to the Directors and develop improvement actions
Also you need to be a decent designer who is totally proficient in Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop
