THE ROLE
You will be responsible for supervising the busy QC team, motivating and training staff to ensure the highest quality of service is provided.
You will also be co-operating with management and maintenance to ensure documents are correctly recorded on a regular basis, corresponding to customer quiries, conduct internal audits, assessing and quality testing of incoming fresh produce along with the QC team, performing regular stock checks to identify any problematic stock and communicate it to external and internal customers. etc.
REQUIREMENTS
* Own transport required due to location
* Excellent understanding and knowldege of the manufacturing process specific to the area, including efficiency and quality standards
* Experience in fresh produce industry.
* Excellent attention to detail
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Excellent computer skills including Excel
* Knowldege of Health and Safety rules and regulations
* Education to a minimum GCSE in English and Maths.
