Service Engineer - Oxford - GBP12 p/h to GBP15ph basic + Overtime - 13006 JP
The Company:
A well respected dealer of agricultural machinery based in Oxford, they service their customers throughout Southern England.
The Role:
Due to the success of the company, my client is now recruiting for an experienced Service Engineer at their depot in Oxford. They are looking for experienced Technicians to work in the workshop on production/assembly of agricultural machinery and there is large field service element to work at customer sites. Experience in Agricultural Engineering is preferred.
Responsibilities:
Repairing and Preparing used machinery and equipment.
Carrying out service and repair work within the workshop and off-site.
The Diagnosis & rectification of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic & functional problems with the machinery.
Pre inspection & preparation of Agricultural machinery.
Installing new and used machinery and equipment.
The Candidate:
Have the ability to diagnose and repair modern Agricultural Machinery - Agricultural Engineering background/knowledge is essential.
Land Based Engineering Apprenticeship or equivalent ideally.
Good knowledge of diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulic systems and electrics.
Excellent customer skills.
A Real Team player mentality.
The Package:
Paying up to GBP15 per hour depending on experience (based on a 40 hour week).
Overtime paid at time and a half Monday-Saturday and double-time on a Sunday, Plus Company Vehicle & Mobile for the Service Engineer role
