My client are a successful and rapidly growing healthcare business, providing best in class care for older adults.
As part of the development of the HR team they currently seek an experienced training and development manager with a track record of designing and delivering training programmes at all levels of the business. The role is responsible for managing a national team of trainers and devising strategic organisational development.
Key areas of responsibility:
  • Managing a team of national trainers, ensuring all mandatory training is delivered as well as working together to take the quality of care forward.
  • Support training delivery, getting involved in delivering operational training.
  • Devising a performance framework.
  • Ensuring inductions, appraisals and performance management and delivered accurately across the business.
  • Deliver corporate development training to the senior leadership team and work on succession planning at all levels of the organisation.
  • Advise on and manage the apprenticeship levy for the business.
This is a real opportunity to take ownership for the training and development across this growing and complex business. Therefore candidates will have proven experience in this area with strong people management and organisational skills. Ideally candidates will have experience from the health or care sectors so that you can bring an understanding of the requirements and regulations of this sector.
