Stone Mason
IMH Recruitment are currently recruiting on behalf of our client within the Doncaster region for a Stone Mason / Stone Finisher.
Our client are a fast growing business are a unique stone manufacturing company who are looking for a new member to join there team on a contract basis to support their growth and busy period.
We are looking for someone who understands all aspects of stone finishing, able to understand drawing and specifications. They must know all elements of stone finishing and use existing skills to ensure all work is accurate and done to a high quality.
Skills Required:
Understand different types of stone and how to handle them.
Make out and strike straight edges.
Blend straight and curved edges.
Understand what the finished products must look like on top and edge.
Have experience using pads/ grinding wheels.
Ability to spin and polish at a consistent level and perform with speed and quality.
Create eased and bevel edges by hand.
Join and match colour and mate seams of 2 pieces of stone.
Ability to glue and repair chips.
Must comply to company requirements within ISO 9001:2015 quality system.
