Purpose
The Solutions Architect will provide engineering support to the Sales and Marketing team. This will include production of concept solutions, white paper, technical proposals and cost estimates. This role does involve UK and overseas travel
Duties
*Work closely with customer to develop solution requirements and to foresee their future needs.
*Develop cost estimates to support the generation of bids.
*Provide briefing and demonstrations to individuals and groups, at the company sites and customer premises.
*Attend meetings with customers across the UK and overseas.
*Generate system solutions, maximising re-use of existing products within the company portfolio.
*Produce high quality white papers and technical proposals to meet customer needs.
Experience and Qualifications
*Experience working in a customer facing role
*Experience in concept development, system design and architecting solutions.
*Previous experience in the generation of bids.
