RAF Valley - Integrated Maintenance Facility (IMF)
About the role
Here at Babcock International we're looking to recruit a Mechanical Bays Fitter to assist in the production of Hawk aircraft Hydraulic and Mechanical Components to meet the daily flying task within a regulated environment.
Main responsibilities will include;
- Carry out first signature responsibilities for Bay maintenance/rectification activities.
- Sign 1st signature for tasked work within trade boundary.
- Use compressed gas.
- Complete maintenance/rectification activities using Bay equipment after operator training.
- Maintain Environmental, Quality, Security and Health & Safety standards as defined by Babcock Policy.
What do I need to do the role?
You must have proven experience and competence as an Aircraft Mechanic (B2T) and an understanding of hydraulic systems and components and of Hydraulic Power including flows and pressures.
