STUDENT WELLBEING MENTOR

Part-time, term-time only (39 weeks per year).

Hours: 10.00am to 4.30pm, Monday to Thursday. Salary: £10,728.26 to £11,741.57 per annum (FTE £19,015 to £20,811)

The College is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and hardworking Student Wellbeing Mentor to join the College’s Pastoral Team. The successful applicant will be required to work with various students to provide guidance and support with any ongoing issues and signpost them to other internal and external support.

The post is available from 1 September on a permanent basis. Previous experience of working with teenagers is desirable, but not essential. The ability to feel confident in the presence of and communicating with young adults is essential. The role also requires excellent empathy and organisation skills.

You must be flexible, along with the ability to remain calm at all times. Occasional evening work is required for which time off in lieu will be given
