£36,000.00 per annum (Plus Car User Payment of £1,239pa)

Based at Head Office – Newport Road, Cardiff

Linc Cymru are offering the opportunity to join the Asset Management Team as a Fire Safety Officer, to support us in overseeing the management of fire related works. We pride ourselves on our high standards of fire safety and you will be key in promoting a culture of continuous improvement in this area.

This role will be our eyes and ears on the ground, identifying fire regulation works and overseeing the management these works. We need you to be focused, positive and innovative so that you can engage with others to help them understand the critical importance of proactive fire safety practices and be an exceptional communicator to help them to understand our goals.

You will support the Health & Safety Manager with audits and compliance, dealing with any notices from the Fire Service and taking prompt action and compliance. You will also undertake and produce Fire Risk Assessments identify and respond to all fire related risks and prepare a programme of inspections. No two days will be the same!

Providing over 4000 homes and care facilities across South Wales and with an ever-growing portfolio of assets, this position is crucial in maintaining high standards. You will need an eye for detail and a comprehensive understanding of fire safety is essential to ensure we maintain the high standards of checks and maintenance expected by our tenants, staff and customers. A Nebosh Fire Safety certificate or equivalent is mandatory for the post.
