We are seeking a senior, experienced 'Operations' leader with a proven background in a Warehouse/Distribution/ or Producton environment.

Our client is a highly regarded, growing company enjoying a significant surge in business. Social media influencers regularly showcase their products and they have appeared in recent tabloids and press releases. So it's a very exciting time to be part of the advancement and transformation.

The role:

With expertise in leading and developing a team, you will report to the CEO and have overall responsibility for the planning, supervision, and reporting of purchasing, inbound/outbound logistics, stock, and operational activities within the warehouse at internal and external sites. You must be a hands-on individual.

Aligned with a culture of continuous improvement and change management, the role will specifically focus on achieving the following:

- Review of warehouse capability and efficiency - shift structures, approach to production, stock sighting and rotation

- Review of inbound and outbound logistics

- Plan the stand-alone supply strategy

- Review of own and third-party warehouse facilities to assess likely needs over the next 3-5 years

- Support the recent surge in business, regarding production and demand

- Manage and Support of all staff within the warehouse/production function

You must have a formal Health and Safety qualification NEBOSH, with strong man management and delegation skills. Good IT skills in both Microsoft and Warehouse Management System are also essential. Your approach will be to achieve this through effective communication, leadership, motivation, training and development of staff along with a culture of continuous process improvement initiatives and productivity metrics
