At St Mungo’s our vision is that everyone has a place to call home and can fulfil their hopes and ambitions.

St Mungo's Real Lettings service operates a social lettings scheme. We manage a property fund which is an exciting, innovative, social impact investment fund investing in residential property and creating social impact in homelessness. St Mungo’s have worked in partnership with Resonance, a Fund Manager specialising in social impact, to raise over £200 million of investment. This has been used to purchase self-contained properties in which to house homeless individuals and families.

We are looking for a Private Rented Sector Lettings Coordinator to supervise the successful delivery and management of the scheme. You will ensure effective accommodation allocation, inductions, rents, void management and repairs reporting are conducted.  Other areas include line management responsibilities, liaising with internal departments, external agencies and contractors, and implementing and reviewing procedures.  Further tasks involve supporting and developing the team to meet KPIs, helping lead the team to deliver continuous improvement objectives and innovate our working practices to increase the service social impact.

To be successful, you will have experience of housing/property management and delivering a professional and effective housing management service.  You will also have experience of assessing the support needs of vulnerable clients.  Providing excellent customer service as well as building and maintaining effective internal and external partnerships, is also required.  This is a varied and fast-paced role which will see the successful candidate using their initiative and problem solving skills to positively impact the lives of our tenants and empower them to progress.

In return, we offer a range of benefits including a pension scheme, staff discounts scheme and initiatives to help you maintain a healthy work/life balance. We are also committed to providing our staff with a wide range of learning and development opportunities; in support of their personal and professional development.
