You’ll be joining our established Property Services section which provides day to day, void and capital works programmes across MSV properties.  As someone with experience of working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you’ll provide painting and decorating works for the Group to a high and consistent standard.
 
As a core member of the painting team you’ll assist in carrying out day to day repairs, work on void properties as well as delivering internal and external decoration refurbishments on the cyclical painting programme.
 
The successful candidate will have previous experience in a similar role along with previous training.  Holding an NVQ Level 2 or equivalent is essential and you must have experience of maintenance work on domestic properties and also of the ordering of materials.  With the ability to work in a variety of conditions, you will work well on your own and as part of a team. You will be expected to supervise an apprentice and ensure they receive the training and mentoring to achieve their training requirements.
 
This is a hands-on role at the heart of the service that MSV delivers to our customers, so your effective communication skills and ability to understand with empathy the diverse needs of our customers will be key.  You’ll be based in the communities we serve and will be self motivated, able to work under minimum supervision and have a friendly, professional manner.
 
You’ll need a full UK driving license as well as a full well maintained tool kit at all times.
