Lecturer in Maths

Full-time | 37 hours per week | Permanent | £23,001 to £33,018 per annum

An opportunity has arisen within the Maths team for additional lecturing staff. We are looking for people who are enthusiastic about making a difference to the lives and careers of our students.

Ideally, candidates will have both experiences of teaching both GCSE and Functional Skills in maths - knowledge and teaching experience in the FE sector would be a bonus.

You will join a vibrant and high performing team, teaching learners from a wide range of vocational programmes within the College as well as adult learners and apprentices.

We offer a supportive culture which offers excellent CPD opportunities.

The ideal candidates will be passionate about working with young people and will be keen to encourage our students to aspire to achieve their goals. The successful candidate will possess essential team working skills, be able to demonstrate how you share good practice, will work collaboratively with colleagues, and achieve team targets.

Teaching experience preferred; however, the College will support the right candidate to gain their teaching qualification.

As one of the country’s largest providers of quality education and training, our team of over 600 talented staff support over 12,000 students each year and each plays a part in making City College Plymouth a nationally recognised learning environment.

The College offers a range of teaching, business support and Apprenticeship opportunities. So if you want to be rewarded well for investing in people’s futures - we want to hear from you.

City College Plymouth is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. The College is an equal opportunities employer.
