We have an exciting opportunity to join our team based in Tolgus, Cornwall as a Mechanical Fitter.

[b]The Role[/b]

The Mechanical Fitter will fault find, repair and maintain SWW assets across a range of company sites, predominantly waste water sewage pumping stations. You support the SWW Pure vision by assisting minimising risk to compliance, quality requirements and Health & Safety. Duties include:

*Asset repair and maintenance as scheduled by the scheduling team or your manager.*Undertaking any training required in order to carry out work activities in a safe or legal manner.*Assisting operational staff with the resolution of complex problems.*Accurate and timely feedback of activities completed.*Keeping our customers updated with activities which may impact on their processes.*Using method statements and safe systems of work for the activities you carry out.*Having a good understanding of Health & Safety responsibilities in a work place.*Working with or in close proximity to chemicals in accordance with COSHH, QMS Procedures and relevant Health and Safety standards including LOLER and PUWER.*Liaising with the scheduling team or your manager to ensure work schedules are optimised.

[b]It is essential that you possess the following in order to be our Mechanical Fitter:[/b]

*Fully qualified in a relevant technical / mechanical discipline.*Experienced in finding fault and repairing large complex pieces of mechanical equipment (not vehicles).*Able to deliver an effective maintenance service in both workshop and site environments*Experience of working with Waste Water treatment processes would be desirable*Able to work under pressure to deliver within tight deadlines*Prepared to work outside sometimes in adverse conditions

In return for your hard work as one of our Mechanical Fitter, we can offer a starting salary of [b]26,846 - 29,914 per annum dependent on skills and experience[/b]. There is also opportunity for incremental salary increases as part of an assessed competency scheme.
