Salary £7,545 - £8,793 per annum (£15,090 -£17,585 Full Time Equivalent)
Permanent, 17.5 hours per week to be worked flexibly (flexible & family friendly working arrangements)

In addition to this, we have around 19,000 properties in more than 40 local authority areas across the region and provide care and support to hundreds more customers.
We now have an opportunity for a Caretaker / Cleaner to join emh homes on a part-time basis to ensure that the appearance and security of the scheme are maintained to the highest standards.
Your main duties will be opening and closing the building for centre users, ensuring the building is clean, safe and operational for users. Undertaking regular health and Safety checks, you will carry out minor maintenance and report on any repairs, defects or damage. You will also check the operation and function of alarms and fire safety equipment liaising with the police and other emergency services as required.
The ideal candidate
The successful candidate will have experience in a similar Caretaking and Cleaning position along with DIY & practical skills and possess knowledge of general building maintenance. You will need to have good communication skills and have worked previously in a customer facing role. Good digital and ICT skills are also required including the use the internet, email / Outlook, mobile phones / tablets and MS Word.
