Our client, part of a well-established food manufacturing group, has been baking expertly crafted biscuits since the 19th century. They are now looking for a Business Development Manager to identify brand and sales opportunities within the biscuit and snacking arena.

The Role
As the Business Development Manager, you will identify and secure new customers in order to maximise sales and brand growth opportunities.
In this varied role, you will establish opportunities and implement plans and strategies in accordance with business needs.
Reporting to the Sales Director, your role will also involve:
- Implementing and managing the appropriate trading terms and price changes
- Delivering established budget in terms of spend, sales revenue, sales volume and gross margin
- Delivering agreed personal objectives and KPIs
About You
To be considered as a Business Development Manager, you will need:
- Previous sales experience
- Experience of winning new business
- A full, valid driving licence
- Exceptional communication and relationship building skills
- The ability to negotiate and influence
- To be quality driven with a proactive approach
