Product Coordinator - Root Salads

A vacancy has arisen for an Product Coordinator – Root Salads, based in Barway Services Ltd at Barway. This position is full-time, Permanent, 5 days.  This is an ideal Apprenticeship role.

Responsible for:

To ensure all materials are supplied on time and in full to meet our daily operational and customer’s needs.  Monitor daily accuracy of the plan to drive continuous improvement, along with developing the team's knowledge, skill base on application of the systems to build a robust and accurate planning function.

Key responsibilities include:

•Working with the Planning Manager and the Product/Ingredient Buyer to help deliver a “daily production plan”.

•Communicate with Goods in/intake to make sure all deliveries arrive on time and are accurate.

•Working with the Procurement Team Managers.

•Ensure all administration associated within the role are kept up-to-date and accurate at all times.

•Assist and support the implementation of a robust “system driven” planning system into the business whilst running the current Excel based system alongside.

•Working with the Teams within the GCCF business looking at current ways of working with a view to simplify and improve our accuracy. Working with the Planning Manager and Commercial Team to drive Forecast accuracy and profiling.

•Agree with your Manager to take on responsibility in managing and driving one agreed Key Improvement Project.
