Portfolio Manager

London, EC1V

About Us

I CAN is a charity dedicated to helping children develop the speech, language and communication skills they need to thrive in a 21st century world.

We run two Ofsted outstanding special schools, deliver a range of speech and language communications programmes, manage The Communication Trust consortium and deliver parental support initiatives.

We are now looking for a Portfolio Manager to manage I CAN’s suite of over 50 educational products aimed at helping children who have speech and language communication needs.

The Benefits

- Salary of £30,000 per annum

- Pension

- 25 days holiday plus public holidays and Christmas closure

- Increase your experience in the charity sector

- Join a friendly and skilled team

This is a great opportunity to support the success of a charity that believes no child should be left out or left behind because of a difficulty speaking or understanding.

We believe our people are at their best when they feel stimulated, challenged and inspired, so we will do all we can to ensure that you do. As our organisation is continuously evolving, there is plenty of freedom to explore new ideas, push boundaries and make a difference.

So, if you’re looking to take on an exciting role where no two days are the same, we’d love to hear from you.

The Role

As a Portfolio Manager, you will be responsible for the production and management of the whole suite of products that includes accreditation schemes, training courses, a small membership base, DVDs, posters, books, and intervention packages.

As the Portfolio Manager, you will:

- Manage the print process as required

- Cover your colleagues in their absence, ensuring work and standards are maintained

- Support other areas of the business as appropriate/required

About You

To join us as a Portfolio Manager, you’ll need:

- Proven experience of managing a portfolio of products

- Work history in an educational setting (although membership and training experience will also be considered)

- Good understanding of the print process including design, typesetting, proof reading, printing and production

- High attention to detail and demonstrable planning skills

- Confidence in dealing with content experts

- Previous event management experience

A knowledge of speech and language communication needs is not essential but would be advantageous to your application.

We’d like to hear from you if you’ve worked as a Product Portfolio Associate, Product Portfolio Officer, Marketing Portfolio Manager, Product Manager, or Portfolio Manager.
