This is a great development role for someone ready to take their next step from a clinical role into a nursing management role, sharing your nursing and palliative care knowledge to really influence and shape patient care across the region.

In this key role, supported by the Clinical Nurse Manager, you'll deliver day to day support to a great team of Marie Curie nurses and healthcare assistants. This will include training and development, investigating incidents and caseload management and support to the Co-ordinators in our local co-ordination office in Rhyl. Along with the Clinical Nurse Manager you will be responsible for the delivery of the Marie Curie Nursing Service in the above areas. You will deputise for the Clinical Nurse Manager in her absence.

A confident communicator and calm decision maker, you'll need experience and knowledge in palliative care and community services, together with well-developed assessment and planning skills. The ability to prioritise your work, whilst juggling a variety of changing demands, is vital.

The role is largely based in Rhyl although you must be willing to travel to various venues across North Wales to meet with nursing teams and attend relevant End of Life Care meetings. The ability to drive with access to a vehicle insured for business use is therefore essential.

So, if you're ready to take the next step in your career, then this is the role for you.

For an informal discussion please contact Julie Davies, Clinical Nurse Manager on 07810 505797.
