NCHA is one the largest locally-based housing groups in the East Midlands. We manage over 9,500 homes and house more than 20,000 tenants across the East Midlands in Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire, Lincolnshire, Leicestershire, Northamptonshire and Rutland. We are looking to recruit a Care Quality Supervisor to join our Project in Burton Latimer; Patrick Court, which has been rated ‘outstanding’ by CQC.

About the role

As one of three Quality Supervisors, you will have a lead role in managing the quality systems in our Patrick Court project in Burton Latimer as well as supporting a wide range of activities. This will include responsibility for ensuring continued compliance and service improvement to make a real difference to the lives of vulnerable people and help them to develop new skills and greater independence. If, for example, our service user wants to go fishing, or go to the cinema, you would ensure that the support team at the project are fully complying with health and safety considerations. You would audit care files and colleague training files and ensure these are maintained to a high standard.

You will also work closely with the Locality Manager to provide frontline management support to the highly skilled team of support workers and  help the team to develop and excel; challenging and encouraging colleagues to continue to deliver an outstanding service. About You:

You must be passionate and dedicated to ensure that the people we support are encouraged to reach their full potential.

As a strong team player, you will be flexible, resilient and able to plan and organise activities and people; demonstrating a clear understanding of Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) and Active Support principles and how this can be applied to support people to achieve the best possible outcomes.

The successful candidate will have up to date, relevant knowledge and experience of good working practice in a social care setting, as well as experience of successfully supervising staff performance and quality. You must also have a minimum level 2 NVQ, Diploma or Apprenticeship in Health and Social Care or another relevant equivalent qualification. Whilst  in post, you will be expected to achieve a Level 3 qualification.

A valid driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential for this post. As values driven organisation you will also need a willingness to promote and adhere to the CLEAR values of NCHA.
