Leicester Theatre Trust (LTT) is a growing organisation and we are currently looking for a Maintenance Technician to join Curve, Leicester’s state of the art theatre.
You will be responsible for carrying out facilities related duties relating to the Mechanical, Electrical and fabricaspects of the building.
This will include checks and repairs to M&E equipment, general building maintenance, monitoring energy and water consumption, and the testing of all fire and security systems.
Under the supervision of the Senior Maintenance Technician, you will be required to direct and supervise outside contractors, ensuring that work is carried out in a safe and satisfactory manner.
Undertaking a programme of planned preventative maintenance (PPM) including PAT testing, filter changes water hygiene management, you
will work to manufacturer’s guidelines, keeping up to date records and asset registers.
You will also be responsible for controlling stock levels and will monitor our computerised Building Managements System (BMS). The successful candidate will ideally have previous experience within a maintenance role and will have undergone suitable building maintenance training.
It is important that you have a good understanding of a technical discipline such as electrics, plumbing or AHU maintenance, and an electrical or plumbing qualification would be useful. We are looking for a team player who is customer driven, health and safety conscious and able to manage conflicting priorities.
