Learning Assistants
Salary: £17,090 FTE (£4,815 for 12 hours per week to £12,038 for 30 hours per week)
Hours: Fractional contracts from 12 to 30 hours per week, 38 weeks a year, plus variable hour contracts - Monday to Friday. Must be available between 8:50am and 4:40pm.
Contract Type: Permanent
We are looking for a number of proactive, caring and professional individual to work as part of our outstanding cross-college Learning Support Team.
Your role would be to provide in-class support to enable learners with specific learning difficulties, disabilities or emotional difficulties to access their teaching and learning opportunities within the classroom environment; to provide individual/group support for learners experiencing a range of difficulties. We would especially welcome applicants who are willing to undertake personal care/physical support.
Learning Assistants need to be confident in supporting students with Maths and English, and sometimes IT.
