About the role

Here at Babcock we are looking to recruit a Head of After Sales, Management & Motorrad to join us on a full time, permanent basis.

Main purpose of the role is to deliver all the training requirements for AfterSales, Management and Motorrad set by BMW Group UK, its Academy National Training Manager and BMW AG.

This role is responsible for ensuring that training outputs and contract KPIs & SLAs are delivered together with the yearly and monthly Babcock budget. The role is responsible for identifying new ways of delivering training, to increase the Academy's digital distance learning approach and maximise the delegate's learning retention. The role needs to focus on efficient and effective processes within the teams; together with clear responsibilities and accountabilities to drive end results and cost savings when possible.

What do I need to do the role?

You'll need to hold the following:

  • Must have management and Key Stakeholder engagement experience
  • Ideally have Automotive industry experience however, they must come from a Service sector background
  • Ideally from an L&D background.
  • Financial budget-holder experience
  • Set the strategic direction of management, leadership development and Aftersales programmes for the UK and Ireland retail networks. Research, analyse, interpret and monitor competitive industry performance and other premium business approaches, identifying trends and opportunities to enhance business performance through talent management
  • Provide internal and external business consultancy to support the strategic, tactical and operational needs in respect to business goals and targets for BMW UK, BMW IE, Motorrad, Dealer Groups and Retailers. Translate these into timely, sustainable and innovative M&L, Aftersales and Motorrad development programmes
  • Work in collaboration with the customer and Babcock managers to identify and implement Academy design and delivery strategy
  • Ensure efficient, cost effective use of resources to meet Babcock and Academy Targets
  • Ensure H&S requirements are considered and maintained in the delivery of all programmes
  • Provide management information required by both Babcock and BMW in line with contract delivery
