The Company:
The client is a leading supplier of fresh produce. They supply products to UK & European retailers as well as other food manufacturers/processors throughout the UK. Established for over 60 years, they have dominated the fresh produce industry alongside their unique specialism and market across the UK and Europe.
Your new job role:
As a Technical Assistant you will be required to work in an office based environment focusing on all areas of processing, production and packaging compliance. Assisting in SAP administration of food and packaging based products, in order with compliance for individual retailer customers including supermarket brands. In addition to basic Technical & Quality Administration task, you will be expected to:
- Undertake daily, weekly and monthly Internal Audits.
- Quality Management System
- CCP Audits
- Other audits when required.
- Undertake swabbing to defined schedules.
- Water testing as defined by schedules.
- Undertake Air Plates to defined schedules
- Raw Material and finished product micro sampling.
- Rejection log and info gathering for report
- QSL for all customers in the various formats required
- Customer complaint logs
- Muddy Boots admin for customers (Morrisons and Aldi)
- SAP - Creating materials (create varieties, inspection plan, packing instructions, link packing instructions, create quality specs, add vendor and supplier to finished product, add barcodes.)
- SAP - Create pick offs (inspection plan, packing instructions, link packing instructions, create quality specs, add vendor and supplier to finished product.)
- SAP - Create purchase requisitions
- SAP - Receive goods / services
- Greenlight - Set up Goods in checks / supplier set up
- Additional resource for label checks.
- Maintain approved grower lists
