Therefore we take a proactive and assertive approach to supporting people away from this activity. Our aim is to support people to recover from the effects of rough sleeping and move away from a street lifestyle permanently.
There is an exciting opportunity in the Islington Outreach team for a full time Outreach Coordinator. The post holder will oversee a team of outreach workers, student placements and the First Response Volunteers in Islington.
The successful post holder will oversee the day to day delivery and progress of the Outreach team, building and maintaining productive relationships with stakeholders including the Local Authority, other homeless services and housing providers across. They will be confident in formulating reports, extracting data to demonstrate the rough sleeping themes within the borough.
We are looking for a passionate, committed and insightful person, with significant experience of outreach, housing or work with homeless people and a dynamic, solution-focused approach to helping vulnerable people make positive changes in their lives.
