Due to the continued growth of the business, our client are currently looking for an International Payroll Specialist to join our payroll team.
The role will report into their Payroll Manager and will sit within the outsource payroll team.
The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator, diligent, pro-active and have a flexible approach to managing their workload. They will also be process oriented and have a keen eye for detail.
This is a key role and is a great opportunity for someone looking to develop their career in payroll. You will be assisting with payrolls for UK secondee's, from on-boarding new clients, to setting up modified payroll schemes, monthly processing.
You will be joining a growing team, which means you will have a real opportunity to learn and develop your skills.
Key responsibilities ??
Set up and operation of UK Payrolls for secondees from around the world as a primary focus. ??
Set up modified payroll schemes.
In depth knowledge of hypo tax application to UK payroll.
Uploading monthly payroll changes.
Check the accuracy of monthly payroll data before forwarding for authorisation.
Handling client queries relating to their salaries, benefits, taxation.
Understanding of National Insurance Exemptons.
Assisting with administering, reporting and resolving queries related to monthly and annual payroll tax obligations ??
Providing support to ensure we are keeping up to date with legislative changes.
Processing standard UK payrolls as a secondary focus.
Uploading, administering, reconciling pensions.
Skills and Experience
Previous UK and UK Inbound Ex-Pat payroll experience essential.
Experience of working within an overseas payroll function is a necessity particularly: Modified Payrolls, Tax equalisation, Secondments.
Understanding of operating a Shadow Payroll is essential.
Customer focused.
Excellent communication and relationship building skills.
Strong time management skills with a flexible approach to managing workload and meeting varying deadlines.
Reconciliation skills are desirable
