Little Yellow Duck Recruitment are working with a national Facilities Management provider who are looking to recruit a Water Hygiene Technician to join their existing team.
This role is based and covering the North East of Manchester working across various contracts within the local area.
Main duties include but not limited to:
Tank cleaning and water chlorination as part of this contract.
Monitoring inspections will involve temperature testing of water outlets, TMVs, inspection of cold water storage tanks and hot water storage vessels, water sample collection, showerhead disinfection and logbook auditing.
Undertake monitoring and maintenance of building water services as part of a Legionella Control Program in accordance with ACOP L8 and HSG 274.
The inspections will be undertaken using a PDA and web based electronic log book system.
Undertake other water hygiene related tasks as required including Monitoring, Maintenance and Remediation works.
The successful candidate will: .
Be able to show a good working knowledge of related water systems remediation or maintenance.
Hold a Full UK Driving Licence.
Package:
Salary: GBP20,000 - GBP24,000
