Our client are seeking to appoint a Planning Consultant to join our consultancy team. They provide environmental and planning consultancy services to support development projects across the UK, from three offices.
This role will be based in our office north of Bristol. In this role, you would contribute to multi-disciplinary development projects across all sectors, including energy, waste, residential, commercial and health projects.
To support your development, you would likely be introduced to project management of your own projects at an early stage, with mentoring and support from senior staff.
You would be exposed to the other environmental services provided by our client, including Ecology, Geo-Environmental, Hydrological, Noise and Acoustics, Traffic and Transport, Landscape and Permitting.
You would be involved in all stages of project development from tendering through to completion, the successful candidate will be expected to participate in all aspects of the work carried out, including assisting with generation of new business and project support and administration.
You should hold or be working towards completion of a relevant planning degree. Working towards full membership of the Royal Town Planning Institute would be desirable. We can provide financial and professional support to help achieve membership
