Grounds Person / Gardener

A Grounds Person / Gardener is required to join the grounds team to help maintain the beautiful School in the centre of Cambridge. The grounds split over two sites and include sports pitches, domestic gardens, lawns, flower beds, hedges and tree lines. You would be part of a team of 5 who undertake this diverse and high-profile function.

Candidates must be capable of working well on their own and as part of a wider team. Previous experience of sports turf maintenance or amenity horticulture along with the use of modern professional horticultural equipment will be a distinct advantage.

The applicant should have a full driving licence and have a flexible approach to over time and weekend work.  

Salary £21,812 with the possibility of moving to the next grade on successful completion of the required probationary period.
