Audit, Risk & Policy Manager
Birmingham Business Park/Flexible
Up to £38,000 per annum

About the role:
We are looking for an Audit, Risk and Policy Manager who will be responsible for reviewing Group policies with colleagues at agreed intervals to ensure they comply with relevant laws, regulatory and statutory requirements.

Responsibility for working with internal auditors and Assistant Director (Governance, Company Secretary and Policy) to manage the internal Audit process and following up on the internal audit recommendations.

Responsibility for monitoring the Group risk framework and ensuring this is kept up to date with risk owners and leads.

We want somebody who can:

  • Be responsible for the development and roll out of policies and associated procedures
  • Demonstrate an understanding of the key principles and processes regarding internal audits, together with an understanding of risk management and associated processes
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders
  • To lead, manage, coach and develop the role of Policy & Research Officer, Audit and Risk Assistant
  • To oversee budgets for internal Audit and Risk software administration
  • Work alongside the wider L&D team, to provide the appropriate training
  • To be proactive, effective and communicate in a timely manner
