What you’ll do

An NMC Registered Nurse (RGN, RMN or RNLD), you will be well versed in care planning processes and fully familiar with clinical assessment tools. You will be keen to develop your leadership skills and clinical knowledge, capable of building close relationships with residents and their families, and determined to drive continuous improvement.

Who we are

Our highly personal, patient-centred approach has seen us enjoy rapid growth, with three new homes planned for next year, so we can offer wide-ranging career opportunities to people who care as deeply as we do.

What we offer

As one of our valued nurses you can benefit from both clinical and management training, enabling you to become a clinical lead, senior trainer or home manager. You can also expect competitive pay of upto £18.00 per hour, comprehensive benefits including bank holiday enhancements, paid DBS check, thousands of online and in-store discounts and free uniform.

Where you'll work

Heavers Court is a stylish and contemporary purpose-designed care home in Croydon, Greater London.

Our experienced team offers personalised residential, nursing and respite care for older people, including individuals who have Alzheimer’s or other forms of dementia.

At Heavers Court, the care we provide is high quality and always person-centred. We get to know every resident as an individual, finding out about their lifetime experiences, their interests and hobbies, and the things they like and dislike.

Our team is very friendly and approachable – although we hold regular reviews of care plans with residents and family members, you’ll find that we’ll always make time for a chat at other times too. Our open door policy means that relatives and friends are welcome to visit whenever they wish, day or night. We really value the support we get from residents’ families, who often volunteer to chair meetings and take part in fundraising activities.

Care UK is committed to ensuring that it employs people with the right mix of talent, skills and potential and will assess every applicant fairly regardless of race, gender, religion, sexual orientation, responsibilities for dependents, age, physical/mental disability or offending background. Having a criminal record will not necessarily prevent you from working with us, it will depend on the nature of the role and background of any offence.
