This role is responsible for the coordination of all T&D activities including the Exertis Express and all off site training events. The Exertis Express is an employee reward programme which takes groups of employees to exciting destinations outside of the UK for team building and group activities.

Additionally, the role will manage the administration associated with the smooth running of the T&D department.

Key Responsibilities:

* Managing the Exertis Express nominations ensuring each one is recorded, acknowledged and shared with the person being nominated.

* Marketing the Exertis Express to encourage nominations and maintain interest in the programme.

* Liaising with Exertis Express winners to ensure all personal information is collated in readiness for the trips.

* Booking Exertis Express trips; coordinating flights, transfers, accommodation and activities.

* Managing all admin associated with Exertis Express trips such as itineraries, feedback forms, personal information forms, codes of conduct etc.

* Acting as the main point of contact for all Exertis Express enquiries from winners, line managers and the rest of the business.

* Coordinating and planning all external training events; dealing with suppliers, booking accommodations and travel where required.

* Managing the stock levels and provision of goody bags for all new starters across all sites.

* Raising purchase orders for all T&D related activities with an external cost association. Reporting on training spend as required.

* Requesting CHAPS payments where necessary to meet supplier terms.

* Ensuring the training rooms are maintained and well presented at all times.

* Liaising with external suppliers to book training on site; managing associated invoices.

* Additional ad hoc duties at the request of the Head of T&D.

* Demonstrate a strong awareness of and commitment to Ethics and Compliance and the DCC Group Code of Conduct.

Essential Requirements

* Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail

* Experience managing travel bookings and liaising with external suppliers

* People focused with excellent customer service skills

* GCSE English and Maths Grade B or above (or equivalent)

* Proactive approach with the ability to find alternative solutions to problems as and when they arise

* Flexible and adaptable to manage situations which do not always go to plan
