Our client are currently looking for a landscape foreman based in Cambridge. You will be responsible for the installation and management of soft and hard landscape projects. The foreman is responsible for completing project installations with great precision and business minded efficiency.

Essential Functions:

* Attend pre-start meetings with the contract's manager and sales surveyor.

* Direct activities on the job site, they include but are not limited to: coordinating workflow, hands on work, and operating a variety of machinery.

* Supervise and manage personal effectively and efficiently

* Understand and implement the design

* Communicating production goals with crew members and clients

* Monitor all tools, equipment and machinery for needed maintenance and report to office.

* Track and record all job expenses, including but not limited to materials and hours worked.

* Ensure the RAMS are read, understood, followed and signed by all workers.

* Ensure that all crew members utilise all required personal protective equipment

* Interacts with clientele to help ensure job satisfaction

* Follows directions from the Contracts Manager

* Ensures that all safety rules and company safety policies are adhered to.

* Communicates well with all crew members, supervisors and clientele

* Strives to improve job skills and develop the potential for upward mobility

* Maintain a clean and safe environment

* Train crew members in the best practices of installation to company standards.

* Maintain first aid box and report any accidents.

* Other duties as assigned.


* 3+ years' experience

* Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions

* Driving licence

* Proficient heavy equipment operating skills including front end loaders, mini-excavators and skid steer machinery with various attachments, other construction equipment as needed

* Knowledge and experience in installing a variety of hardscape applications

* Highly motivated, self-driven individual who is detail orientated

* Excellent attention to detail while working in fun and fast paced environment

* Verbal and written communication skills

* Good time management skills; be available for long hours all year round

* Ability to prioritise and multi task

* Able to work effectively with individuals of differing knowledge and background (i.e. clientele, contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and other designers)

* Clean and professional appearance
