Ashcroft School is an independent special school based in Cheadle and is one of the specialist education services provided by the Together Trust. We cater for children and young people aged eight to 18 years with social, emotional and mental health needs.

As teacher of personal, social and health education, you will…

Implement and deliver an appropriately broad, balanced, relevant and differentiated curriculum for PSHE, monitoring and supporting the overall progress and development of students. Facilitate and encourage a learning experience which provides students with the opportunity to achieve their potential and contribute to maximising student attainment.

About you

So, if you are an outstanding teacher with qualified teacher status and have proven experience of teaching KS3 and KS4, then we want to hear from you!

You will have sound knowledge of the characteristics of effective learning, teaching and assessment in a specialist subject area and have successful teaching experience in a special needs setting. With energy, drive and enthusiasm, you will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and be able to implement clear, consistent and effective approaches to learning, securing excellent relationships and behaviour.
