Staffline are looking to recruit an experienced profile/ setter operator
You will be -
* Responsible for the setting, loading of material and profiling of carbon steel products for use in the machining of flanges.
• Setting / downloading programmes to the machine from pre set programmes.
• Profiling circular products from plate predominantly 10 - 65mm thick.
• Maintenance of material stock records.
Machine Details:
• Falcon Multi head Oxy Propane profile cutting machine
• Bed size 6000mm x 3000mm.
• Burny 2.5 control system for standard shapes and downloading of pre set programmes.
• Cutting capacity up to 100mm thick.
Essential Attributes:
• Must be an experienced profiling operator.
• Must have current FLT competency training certificate.
• Must be able to work on own initiative, part of a team and with minimum supervision.
Desirable Attributes:
• To be computer literate with regards to programming machine
(Training can be given to the right candidate)
• Familiar with radial drilling processes
• Familiar with conventional centre lathe operation
Standard Hours of Work
• Monday - Thursday 08.00 - 16.30
• Friday 08.00 - 15.30
Overtime generally available during week and Saturday mornings
Rate of Pay
GBP9.05 per hour
Position of candidate would be on a 13week temp to perm basis with immediate start
