LGV Driver

Nagel Langdonshas an exciting opportunity for aLGV Driver to join their teaminLuton also covering London and the home counties (Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Essex, Hertfordshire, Kent, Surrey, Sussex). We have both day and night positions on a full-time, permanent basis and receive a highly competitive salary.

The LGV Driver Role

Your main purpose as our LGV Driver will be tocarry out the distribution and collection of goods in a safe, cost effective and efficient manner in line with the Operating Procedures for LGV Drivers for Nagel Langdons Ltd.

Qualifications and Experience you'll need as our LGV Driver:

- LGV Cat C or C+E Licence Holder

- Driver CPC Qualification Card Holder

- Health and Safety

- Manual Handling

- Food Safety & Personal Hygiene

- Proven experience in a Drivers role in a Transport business.

- Good verbal communication and listening skills

- Ability to use initiative to think through problems to find solutions

- Literate with good written communication skills

- Numerate in Application of Number Skills

- Ability to work to targets and deadlines.

- Sound knowledge of the RTD & WTD legislation

- Sound knowledge of LGV Fleet service and maintenance requirements

- Sound UK Geographical knowledge
