They are now looking for a Health and Safety Manager to join their friendly team in Tewkesbury.

The Role

As the Health and Safety Manager, you’ll ensure that our site operates in-line with health, safety and environmental regulations. 

In this varied role, you will: 

- Oversee the site’s fire management requirements 
- Liaise with department managers to ensure H&S training is completed 
- Ensure that sufficient site risk assessments and method statements are in-place 
- Make sure that all PPE is suitable 
- Issue contractors with permits to work 
- Complete accident investigations and report your findings 

About You

To join our client as a Health and Safety Manager, you’ll need: 

- Knowledge and experience of health, safety and environmental issues 
- Previous experience in a warehouse and/or distribution environment
- Strong IT skills 
- The ability to develop practices and procedures in-line with HSE legislation
- The ability to communicate at all levels with assertiveness when required

Ideally, you’ll have a NEBOSH or IOSH qualification, but this isn’t essential.
