The role - Materials Buyer
This is a unique opportunity where you will be given the autonomy to seek out the best rates and work with the design / site team to ensure the materials ordered are cost effective
You will enjoy working in an open plan office in a relaxed, lively environment where you will be challenged and up skilled
The team are from a variety of construction sectors / backgrounds and play to each others strengths and while you will specialise in certain products it is very much a team effort
The department head has been with the company for a number of years and has built a strong team who really enjoy working together - staff retention is excellent as he strives to make it a fun, enjoyable place to work
What else is on offer?
25 days holiday - increasing up to a maximum of 30 depending on length or service
The company will contribute 5.5% if you contribute 2%

The right person
You will either have buying experience or will be from a builders merchants background
1 years experience as a Buyer in any sector
