Associate (Civils)

Our client is a global engineering consultancy firm who are well-known within the industry for their extensive Civil, Structural, Geotechnical, Construction & Digital engineering expertise, and they currently have an opening for an Associate Director play a vital role in leading their expanding Civils team on a full-time permanent basis in their Central London office.

Location: The office is located in Central London; nearest tube stations are Southwark & Borough.

Requirements and responsibilities:

• Minimum of 7 years' experience,
• Chartered status essential,
• Required to work predominantly on rail projects,
• Experience working on rail or other publicly funded projects advantageous.
• RC concrete design experience at a high level advantageous.
• Must have strong technical background and analytical skills.
• Must have significant experience in design RC structures.
• Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be used to and have experience of working alongside the construction contractor on D&B type projects.
• Must be able and willing to travel overseas (subject to necessary Visa's being provided).

The successful Associate will be responsible for overseeing the accuracy & quality of work produced as well as the progression of projects, their profitability & the satisfaction of clients.
