Administrator/PA/Bookkeeper. Our client is a small company engaged in the financial services sector.
It is looking for a person with a pleasant personality and who is prepared to take a keen interest in its business and would like to work in a pleasant and engaging atmosphere. Experience of working in financial services, such as Stock-broking, Wealth Management,Insurance Brokers, SIPP providers would be preferred.

The work will be easily achieved by a competent person working 21 hours per week and the total salary package will be £22,000 per annum (£37,000 if full time) plus pension contributions.
The role entails the following.
1 with general administration of investment portfolios, including purchase and sale of securities. Discussions and interaction with stock brokers and other financial institutions.
2 valuations for clients and interacting with them on a regular basis.
3 all management systems in respect of client records and management.
4 business accounts including payment of VAT and PAYE returns.
5 and submitting periodic financial returns to the FCA.
6 adequate compliance systems and ensuring that investment managers are showing appropriate due diligence.
The job is varied and challenging and presents an opportunity to develop skills, knowledge and understanding within a very interesting investment operation established for more than 30 years. The successful applicant will assist two investment professionals managing investment strategies on behalf of private clients and maintaining procedures which provide a high level of service.
